48 creators. 48 nations. One FIFA World Cup™.

LONDON, 24 April 2026 – DAZN, the world’s leading sports entertainment platform, today announced the launch of DAZN48, a new global initiative designed to put football fans around the world at the heart of the FIFA World Cup 2026™*.

For the first time in history, the FIFA World Cup™ will feature 48 nations. DAZN is matching that global scale with an ambitious idea of building a worldwide squad of 48 creators – one representing each qualified country – to tell the story of the tournament from a fan‑first perspective.

DAZN48 will elevate real fans, vibrant cultures, and authentic stories, capturing how the tournament is experienced around the world.

Launching on 24 April 2026, DAZN48 will begin a global search for football creators with a powerful and original vision for the world’s biggest sporting event. Each selected creator will represent one participating nation, becoming DAZN’s fan correspondent for the tournament and creating social‑first content, daily reactions, and cultural storytelling for a global audience across DAZN and social platforms.

From rivalries and rituals to humour, heartbreak, and national pride, DAZN48 will unite 48 unique fan cultures into one shared conversation around the World Cup.

Quim Domenech, EVP Global Content and Editorial at DAZN, said: “DAZN48 will place fans at the centre of the World Cup. Creator‑first content brings an authenticity, immediacy, and cultural relevance that resonates deeply with our users. By empowering creators to tell their stories, we’re delivering a richer and more personal way to experience the tournament that reflects how football is lived and felt by fans around the world.”

Football creators around the world are invited to apply by visiting dazn.com/dazn48 for more details.
